Michael Montgomery was the starting pitcher. He pitched five innings struck out four, allowed four hits, hit one batter, but only gave up one run. This paved the way for a Hart victory. He was assisted by Chris Tarello who came on in the sixth. He allowed three hits and one walk. Two runs scored, but that was as a result of a triple by Ryan Scherich and couple of errors in the seventh. Tarello's one strike out was very timely in that it was the game ending out.

Hart's offense generated nine hits and scored six runs. Trevor Matern was two for three with an RBI, Bryan Lucas went two for four with two RBI's, BR Holbrook was one for three with an RBI. Tyler Eyrich went two for two. Garrett Bailey and Ben Nicewicz each contributed with a hit. Spencer Moniz and Derek Bickford each assisted with RBI's. Bryan Lucas and Trevor Matern each had a stolen base.
