Hart played solid baseball. Casey McCarthy started for Hart and pitched six solid innings. He had 3 strike outs, no walks, no hit batters, allowed 8 hits and 1 run. Jimmy Murphy came in the seventh to close out the game. Murphy had 2 strike outs, 1 walk and 2 hits. Only one of the two runs was an earned run. Murphy continued to battle and was able to close out the inning with a strike out.

The pitchers were assisted with some key defensive plays and good hitting. In the fourth inning it was a 1-0 game with the bases loaded and 1 out, when Patrick Bailey fielded a ball in right field. The lead runner scored, but Bailey threw a strike to the Bryan Lucas at home to get the second runner at the plate. Lucas fired to third to get the runner attempting to advance to end the inning. In the sixth and seventh inning, Hart's bats came alive and generated nine runs. Spencer Moniz hit a triple and drove in 3 runs. Trevor Matern was 2 for 4 with 3 RBI's, Tyler Eyrich, Derek Bickford, BR Holbrook, Patrick Bailey all contributed with RBI's and Garret Bailey was 2 for 4.
