Michael Montgomery started for Hart and pitched six solid innings. He struck out eight, walked three and allowed one earned run. Chris Tarello came in the seventh to close out the game. He allowed one walk. He was assisted by the defense with a double play which was followed up with Justin Fishman fielding a grounder at third and throwing the runner out at first.

Hart had a total seven hits. In the second inning, Danny Susdorf and Derek Bickford got Hart on the scoreboard first with a walk RBI for each of them. In the third inning, Garrett Bailey got it started with a double. Derek Bickford followed up with a ground rule double, scoring Bailey. Justin Fishman extended the inning with a single. In the fourth, Trevor Matern bunted was able to reach second on an over throw to first base. Danny Susdorf came up and hit a double and earned himself an RBI. In the seventh inning, Tyler Eyrich hit a ground rule double to center field. Spencer Moniz followed up with a single which was enough to get Eyrich home. Moniz also had a single earlier in the game which was Hart's seventh hit.
