Hart Indians were declared Foothill League Champs with their resounding victory over Burbank, 12-1.

Casey McCarthy started for Hart and pitched four and a third inninngs. He struck out two batters, allowed four hits, no walks and did not hit any batters. Burbank scored their one run in the first inning but McCarthy was able to keep them off balance with the assistance of the defense. Patrick Bailey came in the fifth and pitched the remainder of the game. He too was able to hold off Burbank's offense to close out the game and the season with a victory. Michael Poncher closed out the game in the sixth, when he fielded a grounder at second base and threw the runner out at first to end the season.

Derek Bickford led the offensive charge when he hit a three run home run. He was two for four. BR Holbrook and Trevor Matern were each two for three and collected three RBI's each. Tyler Eyrich was two four with a triple and a single. Spencer Moniz was one for three and collected two RBI's when he hit a double. Bryan Lucas was two for four and Ben Nicewicz was two for two. Michael Montomery, Danny Susdorf and Garrett Bailey each contributed with a hit. Bailey also picked up an RBI with a sacrifice fly. Hart had a total of 16 hits for a season high.

They closed out the season like the Champs they all are. Congratulations guys!
