Looking to rebound from a 10-4 loss to Canyon on friday, the Indians were hoping to get their offense on track today in the first game of a doubleheader against Golden Valley. Unfortunately, the Hart offense couldnt get anything going, scoring only 1 run in a 5-1 loss to Golden Valley. The Indians scattered 4 hit over the 7 innings, getting hits from Jake Hovis, Logan Foley, Alex Pettee, and Andrew Marin. In addition, the Indians were unable to take advantage of 5 walks and 2 Hit batters given up by Golden Valley pitching. The lone Hart run came in the 5th inning, after Adam Reyes drew a one out walk. Reyes came around to score , courtesy of consecutive wild pitches. Keon Khatibi, in his first start of the year, took the loss. Jeremy Whitcomb also pitched in relief.
